We’ve had so much going on that I’ll start from where I last left off…

The 1st LIP Meet-Up

We had the 1st Location Independent Meet-up in London a few weeks back. It was fantastic to meet the 17 or so people who managed to find us tucked away on the South Bank. We had peeps from Australia, New Zealand, Greece, Alaska, Poland, Spain, Bali, Arizona and more – thanks so much to those of you who came, including: @amydanzl , @boothead, @casinocorley, @codefrenzy, @Lawnmower_Man, @mardefondo, @mythago, @pamslim, @pluginID and @tanyamonteiro.

We’ve also been working really hard behind the scenes on restructuring of the sites, domains and information hierarchy, in preparation for the expansion of the network to include the launch of the Location Independent Parents site (in mid-November) and the launch of the Spanish, French and German editions of Location Independent Professionals, also in November.

We’re already planning a couple of new projects for 2010 which will see the continued expansion of our network in ways which are *really* exciting!

The LIP TV Tips

We’re about to start a new feature on the Location Independent Professionals site – LIP TV Tips. These will be short video posts sharing tips, information and resources on location, wherever we happen to be.

We’re hoping to post the first of these on Location Independent Professionals in the next couple of days – and we’ll be starting with a “Going Nomadic” countdown series based on what’s been going on in our lives these past few weeks as we prepare to hit the road again – and our tips on how to do this more efficiently & smoothly than we’ve done.
